Brew of the day- Pumpkin spice

Good Morning everyone. I hope everyone is having a great day.
I spoke with my sister lastnight and she and I had an interesting conversation about this holiday season. I have spoke with several others about the same thing and wanted to share it with all of you.
With the economy the way it is and people having some hard times and the future being unknown at this time, we had an idea about Christmas gifts this year. I come from a very large family and every year we buy gifts for everyone on the list. Well, the list just keeps getting bigger and bigger. We came to the conclusion lastnight that maybe this year what we will do for our family Christmas is only give gifts that are homemade. Not only will this cost less, but it will make the gift giving a little more interesting. The more I have thought about this idea the more excited I have become. It seems to me that the time has come that we all need to get back to the basics of what Christmas is all about. When you have to think about creating a homemade gift for someone there is alot of thought that has to go into it. I think its actually going to be much tougher than just going out and buying something. Im really going to have to sit down and think about each person and come up with the perfect homemade gift. Its going to be challenging and I have to say that Im ready for the challenge. What better way to spend time with your loved ones. I also feel that it will teach my daughter some valuable lessons about life as well. She and I both come from a generation of instant gratification and this will teach patience and creativity and that love and togetherness are the real meanings of Christmas.
If anyone has any ideas or feelings about this I would love to hear your feedback.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day and I look forward to your comments.

Namaste
