Hi everyone. Sorry I've been absent. The holiday season has become very busy. I wanted to share with you that I've been offered a job with Gallery one-nine. Im so excited about the job and also alittle nervous. I haven't worked in nine years. I have so enjoyed being able to stay home and raise our daughter, but now that she is in school full time I think it would be good for me to enter into the outside world. I tend to be quite the home body and I really think this will be very good for me. It will help build some confidence and break me out of my shell. Its always alittle nerve racking when you venture into the unknown, but I know I need to do this for myself, so all I can do is let it happen. Just sit back and see where this takes me. Tomorrow will be my first day on the job. My position will be to find local artists to display there art and hold a reception for them. The Gallery is new and downtown on the nineteenth floor of the SC Telcom building. Its really beautiful up there and Im hoping people will come check out the Gallery. If anyone knows of any artists that would like to have an art show just let me know. They don't have to be local, but I believe the Gallery was hoping to feature local artists for now.
I hope everyone is doing well and surviving the cold. I can't believe how cold it has been. But I do have to say, that the snow is so beautiful. Its really starting to feel like Christmas. Take care and I will speak to you soon.
Namaste
